About the Rugby (evening) Toy Fair
|
A very enjoyable evening Toy Fair
Parking is once again FREE for all visitors after 7pm.

The long established Rugby evening toy fair is a great place to pick up collectable toys and models amongst a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.
Several of the dealers at the show have been attending the Rugby toy fair for many years.
Tony Evans is one such regular at Rugby. Tony sells diecast model cars, lorries, buses and aeroplanes in a wide variety of scales. Corgi, Lledo, EFE, Ertyl and Solido are just some of the makes Tony stocks and a wide range of collectables can always be found on his table.
Loughborough Model Centre is another regular trader at Rugby. Specialising in new and second hand 00 gauge model railways, the owners Chris and Nicola Tipping bring with them a large stock of locomotives, wagons, coaches and accessories by Hornby, Lima, Bachmann, Heljan and Ratio.
A regular face at Rugby is that of Phil Ward. Phil sells diecast models by Corgi and Dinky from the 1950s to the 1980s. Many of the cars, lorries and buses Phil sells are in playworn condition and make ideal restoration projects.
There are many stalls selling model railways at Rugby. Collectors can pick up new and second hand locomotives, rolling stock and accessories. Model railway dealers at the fair include Model World, Tims Trains,Keiths Trains and Brian Baker Collectables.
Besides model railways, there is always a large selection of diecast models at the fair from manufacturers such as Dinky, Corgi, Tekno, Norev and Spot On.
Lead soldiers, games, jigsaws, action figures, slot cars, farm toys, sci-fi, film and TV related toys and Meccano all feature in an evening fair that always proves to be a very enjoyable night out.
As well as for the evening swapmeet, many collectors will know the Benn Hall for the Vectis Auctions toy and train auctions held there, as well as for the Rugby Vintage Toy and Train Fair.
